Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the TabDo for Microsoft To Do Chrome Extension (the "Service") operated by the extension developer ("us", "we", or "our").
Your access to and use of the Service is conditioned on your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service.
By accessing or using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms then you may not access the Service.
Description of Service
TabDo for Microsoft To Do is a browser extension that allows you to easily save your open browser tabs, highlighted text, and URLs as tasks directly into your associated Microsoft To Do account.
The Service is provided free of charge "as is," for your personal convenience. No registration with the extension developer is required — authentication is handled exclusively through your existing Microsoft account.
TabDo is a free, client-side extension with no subscription, no account creation, and no payment required to use its core features.
Third-Party Services
The Service interacts with third-party services, specifically Microsoft Corporation ("Microsoft"), through its Microsoft Graph API, to create and manage tasks on your behalf.
- You must have an active and valid Microsoft account to use the Service.
- Your use of Microsoft To Do and the Microsoft Graph API is strictly governed by Microsoft's own Terms of Service and Privacy Policies, which we encourage you to review.
- We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Microsoft Corporation. TabDo is an independent tool.
All API communication happens directly between your browser and Microsoft's official servers only. The extension developer operates no intermediate servers of any kind.
User Privacy and Data Security
Your privacy is critically important to us. The Service stores your preference data locally on your device and communicates directly with Microsoft Graph API over secure HTTPS connections. We do not collect, transmit, or store your data on any external third-party servers.
For a complete breakdown of data handling, permissions used, and security practices, please read our full Privacy Policy.
No passwords are ever seen or stored. Authentication is handled entirely through Microsoft's OAuth 2.0 PKCE flow — a standard designed specifically for apps with no backend server.
User Responsibilities
When using our Service, you agree that you are solely responsible for:
- The content of the tasks you create utilizing the Service.
- Ensuring the security of your Microsoft account credentials. The Service utilizes OAuth 2.0 and never requires, touches, or stores your actual Microsoft account password.
- Any consequences resulting from the bulk saving or deletion of tasks you initiate through the Service interface.
Disclaimer of Warranties
Specifically, we do not warrant that:
- The Service will function uninterrupted, securely, or be available at any particular time or location.
- Any errors or defects will be corrected immediately upon discovery.
- The Service will consistently and perfectly sync with Microsoft's servers, as this may be affected by Microsoft's own rate limits or API outages outside our control.
Any reliance on the availability of the Service for critical task management is at your own risk. We recommend maintaining independent backups of important information.
Limitation of Liability
This limitation applies to damages resulting from:
- Your access to or use of, or inability to access or use, the Service.
- Any conduct or content of any third party on the Service, including Microsoft Corporation.
- Any unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content — whether based on warranty, contract, tort (including negligence), or any other legal theory — whether or not we have been informed of the possibility of such damage.
Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. Changes will be reflected by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page.
By continuing to access or use our Service after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms. If you do not agree to the new terms, please stop using the Service and uninstall the extension.
We recommend bookmarking this page and reviewing it periodically. Significant changes will be communicated via the Chrome Web Store listing update notes where possible.
